Ricky Minor Snubbed?
Ricky Minor was the band leader of American Idol for the last 6 years was not thanked in last nights 2 hour special. Minor is leaving to replace Kevin Eubanks on the tonight show with Jay Leno. Are AI executives fans of Coco? Did they just forget because of Simon’s departure?
From what I heard (grain of salt), they had something planned, ran long, and it got cut. Presumably because the “gereal public” really doesn’t know who he is. I thought it was kind of crappy to cut that out, personally.
