Rush Hour

Belinda Carlisle is the member of the Go-Gos most known for her solo career, but she isn’t the only Go-Go to hit the Billboard Hot 100 on her own.  Guitarist Jane Wiedlin has also released several solo offerings, and her 1988 album Fur featured the song that made her the second Go-Go to hit the Top 10.  Exactly 25 years ago, that song, “Rush Hour,” peaked at number 9, marking Wiedlin’s only Top 40 hit.
