The Bad Plus

Jazz music has increased my interest as time goes by and The Bad Plus have recently surfaced as one of my favorite Jazz artists. According to WikiPedia, The jazz trio Bad Plus consists of pianist Ethan Iverson, bassist Reid Anderson, and drummer Dave King, originating from Minneapolis, Minnesota. In the clip above, the trio covers Tears For Fears 1980s classic “Everybody Wants To Rule The World”. The tune was recorded live at The Basement night club in Sydney in 2008.
