Tony Lewis 1957-2020

Tony Lewis, lead singer and bassist for The Outfield, passed away on Monday at the age of 62. In memory of Lewis, let us know your favorite and most vivid memories involving music from The Outfield. For me, it goes back to the summer of 1987, which is when my interest in pop music really took off. As I was getting into listening to the weekly Top 40, watching MTV, and soaking in a lot of pop music, their song “Since You’ve Been Gone” was out. Because of that, the video for that song is the first thing that comes to mind whenever I think of the band.
