Weird Al Yankovic’s Beatles Parody Pac-Man

I’m a huge Weird Al Yankovic fan and he’s releasing a box set with a bunch of rarities called Squeeze Box: The Complete Works of ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic”. One of the songs on the disc is a Beatles parody of Taxman which he entitled Pac-Man. Al released this track back in 1981, after “My Bologna” and “Another One Rides the Bus” but before he had landed a real record deal. It was played at the time on the Dr. Demento Show, but the song got pulled because of legal reasons. Now Yankovic has the permission and blessing of the George Harrison estate.

If you would like to pre-order the CDs or vinyl order it here. The release isn’t offered as a cassette 🙂
